Admissions Process

MCS welcomes children, ages 18 months through 8th grade, of all ethnicities, socioeconomic backgrounds, gender identities, family structures, sexual orientations, racial identities, national origins, religions, and abilities.

The first step towards enrolling your child at MCS is to submit the enrollment application. After the application has been submitted, you will be contacted about any additional documentation needed to complete the application. The application will be considered complete once all required documentation has been accepted.

Once a complete application has been submitted, including all required documentation, you will be invited to set up an informational family meeting and student visit.

The family meeting is a great chance for you to get any remaining questions answered, as well as for you to share your hopes and expectations in a school experience for your children and in a school community for your family.

The student visit will allow your child to learn more about their potential new school, as well as for the school to better understand what a transition to MCS might be like for your child. Applicants for the Kindergarten-age program or older will visit in an MCS classroom for the day. Children applying for the Pre-K programs will participate in the family meeting with their parents rather than visiting in a classroom.
