Admissions Process

MCS welcomes children, ages 18 months through 8th grade, of all ethnicities, socioeconomic backgrounds, gender identities, family structures, sexual orientations, racial identities, national origins, religions, and abilities.

Step 1: Submit Your Application
The first stage in enrolling your child at MCS is to complete and submit the enrollment application. Once received, we'll contact you regarding any additional documentation required to finalize the application. Once all necessary documentation is received and accepted, your application will be considered complete and you will be invited to set up an informational family meeting and student visit.

Step 2: Arrange a Family Meeting
The family meeting is a valuable opportunity for you to ask any remaining questions and share your hopes and expectations for your child's educational journey and your family's connection with the school community.

Step 3: Schedule a Student Visit
The student visit is an enriching experience for your child to explore their potential new school.  It also enables the school to better understand the potential transition to MCS for your child. Applicants aged Kindergarten and older will spend a day in an MCS classroom, while children applying for Pre-K programs will participate in the family meeting alongside their parents, rather than visiting a classroom.
