Get Involved

We are fortunate to have many dedicated parent volunteers that help make our school strong. At the core of our volunteer community is the FSO, the MCS Family School Organization.

The FSO provides a wide variety of community building and service efforts to add to the overall experience of families who are a part of our school community. They organize many fundraising projects that enable the FSO to underwrite “extra” items or programs to enhance the MCS experience for our students. Over the years, the FSO’s efforts have funded outdoor learning environments, shade structures, playground structures, landscaping, an activity bus, additional fixtures for the fine arts building, a sprung floor for the gym, and much more.

Volunteer activities are not limited to fundraising. Dedicated parents spend countless hours helping in other ways. Board and committee members meet regularly to ensure the well-being of the school. We have a strong group of volunteers who plan social events, help with preparation for student performances, offer their time as class parents, provide support to families through the Family Support Network, work on outdoor gardens and landscape, and so much more.

Everyone has something to give. The more involved you are, the richer your experience will be as a parent and as a member of the MCS community.
